Recipe for the Perfect Day in France

One absolutely fabulous Aunt who has a free day off from work
One niece with a taste for doing a million things at once
One small European car
One perfect sunny day in Paris

Head over to Versailles at 10 AM to see the Chateau de Versailles
Eat at an authentic French restaurant and hear new friend’s experiences teaching in South Korea
Drive into Paris to walk around the Louvre; finally see the Mona Lisa painting in person
Meet Auntie Dawn’s friends in front of the opera theatre to see arguably the my first and best opera of all time- Tosca- while sipping on champagne
Rush over to the Trocadéro at 11 PM to see the Eiffel Tower light up at night, to signify the end of the most perfect day

Serve chilled, or piping hot, or whichever you prefer.

France is amazing. I am very sad to leave. But like all good things, they must come to an end, and it is time to move on. Tomorrow it is time for Switzerland. In two days I will be sky diving- in Interlaken.

Much love,
